I love fresh berries. I love them so much they are one of the main parts of my header! One way I love to serve fresh berries at dinner parties is with some basic fresh whipped cream. Guests love it!
Luckily for all of us, fresh whipped cream is ridiculously easy to make. All you need is a chilled bowl, a hand mixer, heavy cream and sugar! At our most recent dinner I topped homemade chocolate mousse with a dollop of fresh whipped cream and a few chocolate shavings, and served fresh berries on the side. It was a hit!
Fresh Whipped Cream
makes app. 1.5 cups of whipped cream!
2 tbs white sugar
1 cup heavy cream (can use whipping cream also if you like)
1. Put the sugar in the bottom of a chilled bowl. Pour the cream over it. Using your hand mixer, beat until the mixture has formed stiff peaks, about 2-3 minutes. Enjoy!
Didn’t I tell you it was easy?
