Bananas for Bananas

I have to admit something.

banana

I am obsessed with bananas. I eat one every single day! When I run out or they turn too brown, I have a little panic in my heart and go straight to the market. It is the only item that will convince me to go to the market twice in one week.

Oh bananas! They come in a perfect little carrying case, and while low in calories they also keep you feeling satisfied. They are perfect alone, or with many other foods. I love them so much.

And how funny is this picture of a Banana Budha? Have you ever seen such a thing? I can’t find my source for either .jpg so if it is yours please let me know and I will credit you!

Do any of you have a food like that? What food do YOU eat every day?

Tonight I will have a great recipe for you… a simple and delicious basil PESTO!

  2. I get major banana anxiety, if I don’t have one for the next morning, I will be at the grocery at any time of the night!

  3. Um, I eat a LOT of foods everyday – bananas, oatmeal, Larabars, PB Puffins, apples, hempmilk, leafy greens, salsa……

  4. I think I’m the only bloggie NOT on the banana boat – I’m just not a fan 😦

However!! Apples, PB, English muffins, CC, hummus, mushrooms…every day!

  6. hey!

i am also a banana fan. and i love yogurt + granola! and sandwiches. 🙂

  7. I tend to eat apples every single day – several, usually 3-5. It’s kind of nuts, but I’d rather snack on a bunch of apples after dinner than something bad!

  8. I’m crazy about bananas, but also banana bread, so in my pantry, there’s no such thing as “too brown.” Wish you could send those to me!

  9. I love bananas! I eat them in my oats every single day! They are great melted!

  10. I eat a banana (or two) pretty much everyday!

  11. They come in a perfect carrying case…

    Haha! So true!
My food addictions are dairy and tea. I have to have some form of each.

  12. I eat at least one banana every day too! In my oatmeal. But I like it when they start to go brown because they taste better mushy in oatmeal (plus browning bananas are a great excuse to make banana bread).

But apples are my real love. Its not uncommon for me to eat 3 apples a day. Can’t get enough of them!

  13. haha that IS hilarious! That is why i named my blog 😀 I literally panic if they’re not in the house, i’ll run out and get some before breakfast if i’m out!!

  19. I’m OBSESSED with bananas too. I have eaten one with my breakfast (sometimes another later in the day) every day for at least 5 years now. I’ll make special trips to the grocery store to buy them if we are out. Oh how I adore bananas 🙂
